Save Our Seas: Playlister soundtracks the new KITX campaign

Playlister has provided the soundtrack for a new campaign to protect our oceans from plastic pollution.
Australian Sustainable fashion pioneer Kit Willow, founder of B-Corp certified KITX, has teamed up with 11-year-old Melbourne student Lumi Wilson to launch the ‘Save Our Seas’ campaign, generating awareness of plastic pollution and its impact on marine life through sales of a limited edition KITX x Save Our Seas activism tee, with 100% of proceeds going to leading conservation organisations Melbourne Zoo’s Marine Response Unit and Take 3 for the Sea.
“There is no stronger and more compelling voice for change than our future generations,” says Kit Willow. “Lumi is a force for change, a voice of future generations inheriting our planet.
“This campaign is a call to action for everyone to adopt ocean friendly habits. We all have a part to play to prevent the use of single use plastics and unnecessary packaging, and to avoid materials such as polyester and nylon in their clothing choices, which contribute to micro-plastic pollution.
“Together, we can make a significant impact on the health of our oceans and the future of our planet.”
