Playlister's Dan Lywood collaborates with NON Dance Collective
A new production follows a sold-out first season from the emerging Sydney dance collective

As well as curating the music for some of Australia's most acclaimed venues, Playlister has also created original compositions for brands and events across the globe.
The latest is for Mama, Why the Butterflies - the second chapter of Davide Di Giovanni's choreography for NON - the emerging dance collective led by Di Giovanni and Chloe Leong.
Following a sold-out first season, NON recently staged its production of Mama, Why the Butterflies?, with music supervised by Playlister co-founder Dan Lywood in collaboration with Davide. As well as selections curated by Dan and Davide, the performance also included some of Dan's original music, soon to be released.
Set in the unconventional space of a car park, the sold-out performances featured best-in-class dancers and delved into the fragile balance of life, love, and time - illustrated with cinematic imagery through contemporary dance.
