ROKSANDA AW25 at LFW

Playlister was proud to once again provide the soundtrack for Roksanda IIlinčić's latest runway show at London Fashion Week, following over a decade of collaboration to help bring the designer's unique vision to life.

For the AW25 show, which took place at the brutalist gem Space House, ROKSANDA took inspiration from the late British sculptor Phyllida Barlow - particularly her 2014 Tate Britain exhibition that largely featured works created using discarded materials.

“It’s not just about the sculptures; it’s that dialogue between objects that are overlooked, that are discarded, that are considered old and unworthy, and really lifting them to something that is so beautiful,” Roksanda told Vogue after the show. “I tried to take Phyllida Barlow’s ethos of using discarded materials, fabrics, and create something very sculptural, almost a cross between sculpture and garments. That’s how the whole collection started.”
